Making your home look expensive doesn’t need to be expensive. Here are five ways to fancy up your space on a dime. 

1. Hang large-scale art on the walls

Hanging a large abstract painting, or a fun colourful print is a great way to add dimension to a room without breaking the bank. Thrift stores and flea markets are great places to find interesting and inexpensive art.

2. Make use of textiles

Using an exotic rug on the floor or adding a textured throw onto your sofa will instantly liven up a room and add intrigue to the space. Turkish or Persian rugs have a distinct look that brings warmth to any room.
